How to send a Telegram broadcast to all subscribers of your bot
Last updated: October 2026.
Short answer: connect your bot to Mavibot, open Broadcasts, click Create a mailing, choose the recipients, write the message and send it now or on a schedule. You can message only people who started your bot. Mailings work on the free plan and count toward its limit of 50 messages a day.
A broadcast sends one message to many subscribers of your bot at once. In Mavibot it is called a mailing. People use it to announce a promotion, remind clients about a webinar or an appointment, or bring back customers who stopped writing. This guide shows how to set one up in Mavibot's Telegram bot builder, with a clinic as the example. The clinic and its offers are made up for the demo.
How Telegram broadcasts work
Telegram bots can write only to people who started them. A user opens your bot and presses Start, the contact lands in your Mavibot base, and from then on you can include that person in mailings. The audience has agreed to hear from you.
Telegram does not punish a bot for messaging people who started it. Mavibot's team and its customers have sent broadcasts to audiences of 40,000 and 150,000 users without bans, most recently in October 2026. To keep it that way, ask for permission in the welcome message and send only what your subscribers expect from you.
Telegram also limits how fast a bot can send. Telegram's Bots FAQ, checked in October 2026, says a bot cannot broadcast more than about 30 messages per second unless paid broadcasts are enabled, and suggests spreading large sends over longer intervals. At 30 messages per second, 150,000 messages take about 83 minutes. In Mavibot you can leave the interval between messages empty, and it places recommended intervals automatically, or split the mailing into parts.
Step 1. Connect your bot to Mavibot
You need a bot that is already connected. If you don't have one yet, follow how to make a Telegram bot without coding. It takes four steps: create the bot in BotFather, paste its token in Mavibot, build a first scenario and test it.
Step 2. Create a mailing
Open Broadcasts in the left menu. The page is called Mailings and opens on the Messengers tab, while the Emails tab is for email campaigns. Click Create a mailing. The New mailing page has three tabs: Recipients, Message and Sending.

-
In the Recipients tab, name the mailing, choose when to count subscribers and pick who gets the message from your messenger clients or from a file.
-
In the Message tab, write the text. The preview on the right shows how it looks in the chat.
-
In the Sending tab, choose Send immediately or Schedule sending and set the date and time. The Test button sends a test message first.

The Recipients tab has two ways to count subscribers. "At creation" fixes the list with the people you select now, and "At start" recalculates the list by your filters right before the send. You can filter by Mavibot CRM stages, channels, lists and labels, clients from blocks, client variables and deal variables, and exclude any of these groups. The option Exclude unsubscribed is on by default, so people who opted out of mailings are skipped. The Count button shows how many people will receive the message.
In the Sending tab you can leave the interval between messages empty, and Mavibot places recommended intervals automatically. To send in stages, split the mailing into parts by setting the offset relative to the first client and the number of clients to send.
For the clinic example, the message can be:
Hello! This week Sunrise Clinic takes 10% off blood test packages. The offer is valid until Friday. Reply to this message to book a visit.
Mavibot recommends keeping the option to save the mailing in the conversation history switched off, because it slows the bot down while it sends. History is not saved anyway when there are more than 10 thousand clients.
Step 3. Start a mailing from a flow block
You can also start a mailing from inside the builder. Open the flow, select a block, open the menu with three dots in the block settings and choose Create a mailing, then Messenger broadcast. Mavibot opens the mailing with the content of that block. Recipients and sending work as in Step 2.

A mailing started from a block moves everyone to that block and sends them its text. If the block keeps the state of a dialog, contacts at other stages of the funnel move into it and continue from there. If you can't interrupt people in their current flow, start the mailing from a block without state and build a separate branch for mailings, so the main funnel stays as it is.
Step 4. Check the result
After the send, the Mailings page lists your mailings under the tabs All, Drafts, Scheduled, Sending and Sent. A finished mailing shows All messages sent and the number of recipients, and the Parameters tab on the right gives the details.

Clicks and views are tracked only in email campaigns, not in messenger mailings. For Telegram, judge a mailing by what people do next: replies in dialogs, bookings and payments.
Telegram broadcast examples you can copy
Each example uses one segment and a short chain of messages.
- A promotion for existing customers. Send it to people with the tag "customer". The first message announces the offer and the deadline, the second gives the details with a link, and the third, the day before the deadline, is a reminder.
- Reminders for an event or a visit. Send them to people registered for a webinar or an appointment: one a day before, one an hour before and one five minutes before, the last with a direct link.
- A short series. Send three to five messages with tips to subscribers interested in one topic, and finish with an offer such as a consultation or a course.
How to make a Telegram broadcast work better
Put the point in the first two lines, because that is what people see in the chat list. Try different days and times and compare the replies you get. Send less often rather than more. A subscriber who gets only useful messages is less likely to block your bot.
For other channels, see WhatsApp broadcast or email marketing.
Limits on the free plan
Mailings are available on the free plan, but every message you send counts toward its limit of 50 bot messages a day. To write to a larger audience, you need a paid plan. Business costs $39 a month and allows up to 10,000 bot messages a day. Mavibot AI costs $59 a month and adds Mavi, an AI employee for sales, to everything in Business. New accounts get a trial of the top plan: 3 days, or 10 days with the promo code MAVI10. The prices come from the pricing page and may change.
Send your first broadcast
Start free, enter the promo code MAVI10 on the project creation screen for 10 days of the top plan, connect your Telegram bot and send your first message from Broadcasts.
