Short answer: open Sites, click Create and choose Online shop. Add your products, set delivery, connect a payment provider and share the store link. The free plan includes one store with an unlimited number of products. Mavibot takes no commission on sales, and payment providers charge their own fees.

An online store builder is a tool that lets you create a shop website with a product catalog, a cart and a checkout, without a developer. A Mavibot store works this way, and you can build it on the free plan and share it as a link in any messenger. This guide goes from an empty account to a store that is ready for the first order, using Mavibot's online store builder. It is written for small sellers who sell through Instagram, Telegram or WhatsApp and want the catalog, orders and customer chats in one place.

What you need

You need a Mavibot account and your products: names, photos, prices and, if you have them, quantities. If you don't have an account yet, sign up. On the project creation screen there is a field for a promo code at the bottom. Enter MAVI10 there to get 10 days of the top plan free.

You can build the store in Steps 1 to 8 on the free plan. Your own domain and extra stores need a paid plan.

What the free plan includes

The free plan costs $0 and needs no credit card. The table shows what changes when you move to a paid plan.

Free plan Paid plans
Price $0, no credit card From $39 per month (Business)
Stores 1 Up to 100
Products Unlimited Unlimited
Own domain No, the address is on Mavibot Yes
Commission on sales None None
Store created by Mavi, the AI employee No Top plan and trial only

Payment providers still charge their own fees, so look at the tariff of the one you choose. Plans and prices were checked in October 2026, and the current ones are in the pricing section of the homepage.

Step 1. Create the store

Go to Sites and click Create. A window asks what kind of site you need. Choose Online shop.

The What kind of site do you need window in Mavibot with the Online shop option highlighted

The store opens with its own tabs: Storefront, Products, Orders, Delivery, Payment, Promo codes, Customer area, Partners and Settings. Open the Products tab. Everything you change there goes live on the storefront immediately.

Step 2. Create categories

Categories help customers find a product by type, so create them before you add products. In the Products tab click Categories, then Add category, and type a name.

Hover over a row to add a subcategory, rename or delete it. Drag a category by the dots on its left to change the order or to nest it under another one. A category with no products is hidden on the storefront. If you delete a category, you can move its products to another one.

Step 3. Add products

Back in the Products tab, click Add product. The window asks for a title, the price, the old price, the quantity, the SKU, the position in the catalog, the category, the brand and the photos.

Fill in the old price when you run a discount, and the customer sees both prices. Leave the quantity empty if you don't want to track stock. If you enter a number, a product that runs out is shown on the storefront without the Add to cart button. The position sets the order in the catalog: the lower the number, the higher the product. Each product also gets its own card link that you can copy and share.

The Show in catalog toggle at the top controls visibility. Drafts are hidden from customers, so you can prepare a product and publish it later. Click Save.

If your catalog already exists on another platform or in a spreadsheet, you don't need to type it again. Click Import and upload the file. After the upload, a window opens where you match the columns of your file to the product fields.

To take your catalog out, click Export products. A window shows every product column, such as price, amount, old price, name and description. Untick the ones you don't need and click export. The products download as a table.

Step 4. Set up delivery

Open the Delivery tab and click Add method. Customers pick from these methods at checkout.

The Delivery tab with two delivery methods and their on and off toggles

Give the method a name, add a short description and set the delivery time, for example 2 to 4 business days. Enter the city or area it covers and the price. In the Free delivery from field enter the order amount where delivery becomes free. At the bottom you choose which extra fields the customer fills in, such as the street or the apartment. Click Save.

The Your delivery options window with name, delivery time, city, price and free delivery fields

A method has its own toggle. Switch it off to hide it from checkout without deleting it, and use Configure to change it. Delivery settings belong to the store, so a second store can have its own methods, for example a city courier in one and shipping across the country in the other.

Step 5. Connect payment

Open the Payment tab. It shows the payment providers that work in the country of your project, and the Change country button switches the list if you accept payments elsewhere. In the example for the United States the list has PayPal, Stripe, INXY, Coinpayments, Wallet pay, PayTabs and Mercado Pago. Click Connect next to a provider and enter the keys from its dashboard.

The Payment tab with the list of payment providers for the project country

Mavibot works with more than 20 payment systems, so the list is different in other countries. Every system has a short guide in the Mavibot documentation. For Stripe, for example, you copy a secret key and add a webhook address, then click Save settings.

When a customer pays, they go to the page of the payment provider and come back to the store after the payment. Mavibot receives the payment status, so it can react to it, for example by sending a message. Mavibot takes no commission on the payment. The provider charges its own fee, for example Stripe lists its rates on its pricing page, so compare providers before you choose one.

Step 6. Choose the store address

Open Settings and go to the Domain page. It offers three ways to open the store. The platform address looks like mavibot.site/st/ followed by a short code. A subdomain on mavibot.site gives you an address in the form name.mavibot.site. Your own domain connects through DNS: you create an A record with the value shown on the page, and the change can take up to 24 hours to work everywhere. An own domain is available on paid plans.

The Domain page of the store settings with the platform address, subdomain and own domain options

The same Settings area has pages for General, SEO, Checkout, Analytics and pixels and Custom HTML. Click Save after any change.

Step 7. Test the store

Before you share the link, open the store by its address and go through the path of a customer:

  1. Find a product with the category filter and the search.

  2. Add it to the cart.

  3. Choose a delivery method and fill in the address fields.

  4. Check that the free delivery threshold works, if you set one.

  5. Pay. Many providers offer a test mode, for example Mercado Pago gives a test access token. Use it for the test order if your provider has it.

If a field is missing, fix it in the delivery settings or the product card and test again. The product table shows the status of each product, so you can also check that nothing is left as a draft.

Step 8. Share the store

Copy the address from the Domain page and put it where your customers already are: the bio of your Instagram, Facebook or TikTok profile, your messages to customers, your Google Business Profile and your ads.

You can also send the store from a Mavibot bot. In a block of the bot, open Buttons and click Add button. For Telegram choose the function Telegram Web Application, paste the store address and name the button, for example "Shop". The store then opens inside Telegram, as described in Telegram's documentation for Web Apps. For other messengers keep the default function that opens a link. Set the button type to Inline or Keyboard and save the block. There is more on this in the guide to Telegram Mini Apps for business.

An online store opened inside Telegram with filters, categories, search and product cards

In Telegram the customer sees the same store with a filter by price and categories, sorting, a search field and product cards with a button to add the item to the cart.

Give your buyers a customer account

The customer area is a section of your site where a customer sees their orders and bonuses and chats with the store. Customers can track an order, cancel it and order again, as in the account of any online store. In the example below the menu includes My orders, Bonuses and Affiliate program, and the Bonuses page shows the balance, the cashback rate and the bonus history. You switch the area on separately in the Customer area tab of the store.

The customer area of a store with orders, bonuses and cashback

The customer area sends events to the bot, and each event can start a message or an action. The main ones are a new registration, an order placed, an order paid, a delivery status change, a cancelled order and an abandoned cart. A bot can then thank a customer for a paid order or remind them about a cart they left.

Mavi, the AI employee of your project, can set the customer area up and build such automations from a text request. It works on the top plan and during the trial.

How a home goods store launched in two days

A home goods store came to us with a large catalog, so typing the products by hand was out of the question. We loaded the catalog through import, connected delivery and payment, and set up the customer area. The store was ready to take orders in two days. How much it earns for the owner is private, so we can't share that.

Who this store fits and where it stops

It suits small and medium sellers. Import makes a large catalog manageable, and if you talk to customers in Telegram, WhatsApp or Instagram you can send them the store link in the same chat. Customers, orders and bot conversations sit in one Mavibot account, so the bot can message a customer after an order event.

A few limits to know before you start. The customer pays on the payment page of the provider, not on the store page itself. Your own domain needs a paid plan, and the free plan has one store. On the free plan the bot can send 50 messages per day, and that limit covers the messages it sends around your store. If you are still choosing a platform, the guide to Shopify alternatives for small business compares the options.

Build your online store

Create an account, open Sites and add the first product. Use the code MAVI10 on the project creation screen to get 10 days of the top plan, or stay on the free plan. You can start with the online store builder and, once the store is live, add an AI shopping assistant that answers product questions.

Frequently asked questions

Is Mavibot's online store builder really free?

Yes. The free plan costs $0 and includes one store with an unlimited number of products. New accounts also get a trial of the top plan, and the promo code MAVI10 gives 10 days. An own domain and more than one store need a paid plan.

Does Mavibot take a commission on sales?

No. Mavibot does not take a percentage of your sales. Payment providers charge their own fees, so check the tariff of the provider you connect.

How much does it cost to run an online store on Mavibot?

The free plan costs $0 and includes one store. The Business plan from $39 per month adds your own domain and more stores (prices checked in October 2026). Mavibot takes no commission on sales, and your payment provider charges its own fee per payment.

How long does it take to set up an online store?

It depends on the size of the catalog. A home goods store with a large catalog was ready to take orders in two days with Mavibot: the products came in through import, then delivery, payment and the customer area were set up.

How many products can I add on the free plan?

The number of products is not limited. You can add them one by one or import a file.

Can I import products from another platform?

Yes. Export your catalog from the other platform as a table, open the Products tab in Mavibot, click Import, upload the file and then match its columns to the product fields. You can also export your Mavibot products as a table.

Which payment systems can I connect?

Mavibot works with more than 20 payment systems, and the Payment tab shows the ones that work in your project's country. The documentation has guides for Stripe, Mercado Pago, EBANX, Iyzico, PayTabs, PayTR, Garanti BBVA, Paynow, Fondy, WalletOne, Wayforpay, Allpay, Wallet Pay, INXY Payments, Prodamus and Robokassa. The customer pays on the provider's page and returns to the store.

Which free online store builders include local delivery options?

Mavibot does. You can create delivery methods for a city or an area, with a price, a delivery time, a free delivery threshold and the address fields you need, such as street or apartment. Every store has its own delivery methods. The free plan includes the store and its delivery settings.

Do customers get a personal account?

Yes. The customer area shows a customer their orders and bonuses, lets them track, cancel and repeat an order, and works like the account of a regular online store. You switch it on separately in the Customer area tab of the store.

Can I use my own domain or run more than one store?

An own domain needs a paid plan. A paid plan also lets you create more than one store, up to 100. The free plan includes one store.

Can I send the store link in Telegram or WhatsApp?

Yes. Add a button to a block of your bot. In Telegram the Telegram Web Application function opens the store inside Telegram. In other messengers a link button opens it in the browser.
